Since 1977, Warsan Homoeopathic Laboratories has evolved from small-scale production to a globally recognized, ISO & GMP certified manufacturer of quality homeopathic medicines.
A brief historical overview of the company (Homeopathic)
- In 1977 company switched over from third party manufacturing to its own production and marketing of 50 products (homeopathic).
- 1978 to 1982 Gradual extension of product portfolio to a full line of 200 products and production of Mother-Tinctures.
- 1983 to 1986 Consolidation
- 1987 Research, development and production of Liquid Oral Dosage forms such as Syrups, Elixirs etc.
- 1988 to 1990 Production and LODF’s Research, development and production of Solid dosage forms such as Tablets and Capsules.
- 1991 to 1994 Co-Production of LODF’s/SODF’s
- 1995 to.1996 Research, development and Production of topical dosage forms such as creams, ointments, lotions as well as eye and ear drops. Co-Production of LODF’s/SODF’s and TDF’s
- Started contractual manufacturing of third party products
- 1998 to 2001 Started marketing of its best homeopathic product “Hepaguard Elixir” its clinical trials in the cure of hepatitis and intensively marketing of “Hepaguard Elixir” to the allopathic sector
- 2002 to 2003 Construction of the new state of the art manufacturing facility at Ferozepur road and shifted manufacturing there
- 2004 Reformation of manufacturing and marketing activities for GMP compliance and ISO Certification
- 2005 Promotion of products through marketing team to allopathic sector,
- activities for GM P compliance and ISO certification
- Active participation in organizing training workshop with the collaboration of NI H & WHO on Good Manufacturing Practices (GM P). Compliance of G MP standard in manufacturing.
- 2006 to 2008 entry into the export arena, and activities for GM P compliance and ISO Certification.
- 2007 to 2011 registration of 5 products with Ministry of Health, Tajikistan.
- 2009 Certification of QMS (Quality Management System) ISO 9001-2008, started export to Bangladesh.
- 2009 Started own production of 12 Bio Chemic Tissue Salts.
- 2010 Issuance of GMP Certificate from Ministry of Health, Pakistan.
- 2011 Registration of Warsan Homoeopathic Laboratories with Ministry of Public Health
- Afghanistan and started export to Afghanistan
- 2014 Enlistment with FDA, USA
- 2015 Installation of automatic Syrup and Drops Lines.
- 2015 Registration of 11 Products with Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan.
- 2015 Completion of State of the Art Microbiological Lab. equipped with all latest instruments and technology.
- 2015 ISO 9001-2015 QMS Certification
- 2015 Enlistment with Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).
